Best Spine Doctors in New York
We are proud to have three of our spine specialists on the New York magazine list of Best Doctors in New York. Dr. Roger Härtl, Dr. Eric Elowitz, and Dr. Neel Mehta were named to the annual list, which is prestigious subset of the nationwide Castle Connolly listings of top doctors.
Dr. Härtl, director of the Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Comprehensive Spine Care, is Chief of Spine Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell. This is Dr. Hartl’s ninth consecutive year on the New York magazine list of the best doctors in New York, and his eleventh year as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in America.
Dr. Eric Elowtiz, who is Vice Chairman for Quality and Patient Safety at the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain and Spine Canter and Associate Professor of Neurological Surgery, makes his fifth consecutive appearance on the New York magazine list and sixth on the Castle Connolly list of Top Doctors in New York.
Dr. Mehta, a co-director of the Weill Cornell Medicine Center for Comprehensive Spine Care, is the medical director of Pain Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell. In addition to his work at the Spine Center, Dr. Mehta treats patients who experience pain from cancer or other conditions. This is Dr. Mehta’s third year as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, and his first on the New York magazine list.
