The Center for Comprehensive Spine Care’s own Dr. Fu explains in a recent article on Spine-health.com that spinal fusion surgery to treat scoliosis should be considered as a patient’s option only when specific conditions are encountered. Dr. Fu recommends the surgery if these conditions are met; otherwise ongoing observation and bracing to treat scoliosis are recommended.
