Boxer Danny Jacobs became a patient of Dr. Roger Härtl when a spine tumor not only knocked him out of the ring, but off his feet completely. Danny’s career was threatened by the tumor, which had wrapped around his spine; some thought he would never walk again, let alone fight. But thanks to Dr. Härtl’s surgery, Danny not only recovered his health but also his abilities in the ring.

In August 2014 he won a world championship at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. He was also featured in a TV ad for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Watch the video to hear his remarkable story.
