Department of Anesthesiology resident Dr. Yan Cui recently presented her paper, “The Dolorimeter, Randomized Controlled Trials, and Patient Controlled Analgesia — A Journey through Pain Medicine History at The New York Hospital” at The Anesthesia History Association Annual Meeting. The meeting took place in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 28-30.

Dr. Cui is a member of the Residency Class of 2017. Her paper is the winner of the C. Ronald Stephen, M.D. annual essay contest for residents and fellows, and was written under the close guidance of Dr. Neel Mehta and Dr. Vinod Malhotra.
