Take Frequent Breaks from Your Phone and Laptop
The best posture you can have is the next one. Meaning, if you spend all day long working at your computer in one position, your body will not be happy with you.
Stay Active
As humans, we’re designed to move, and we’re designed to be dynamic. In the modern world, oftentimes we’re too static. Try setting a timer to remind you to move every 20 to 30 minutes. It’s also important for patients to take an active role in their treatment. Active therapies, such as exercise, especially something that involves strengthening, can be really beneficial.
Find a Good Mattress
Go with support. Lie perfectly flat on the mattress; get your feet up. Are you completely sinking in? Is there some support there? Feel all the pressure points and areas of support. Go for something that’s not too hard, not too soft — somewhere in between.
